Having covered the pitfalls of blind reliance on the uploads being complete and accurate, we now turn our attention to the stuff that requires manual capture.
Now you might be asking, “with SARS receiving so much information from third parties and offering the convenience of providing a largely pre-populated return, what is left for me to capture?” Quite a lot, as it turns out … so let’s kick off with some of the obvious items.

SARS may well have established electronic links with most financial institutions, but no such link exists with the Department of Home Affairs.
